Digital Media Studio workshop Tuesday, November 22

Located on campus in the Center for Innovative Teaching and Learning, the Digital Media Studio (DMS) has the tools you need to create engaging and informative video content for students.

The One Button Video Studio is a standalone video recording system designed for solo use and is well suited for recording lectures and interviews. The finished look is like a newscast with the content and presenter appearing onscreen simultaneously. Content can be shown in a box over the shoulder or displayed in full screen behind the presenter.

The Lightboard is a special piece of technology that allows you to write on screen as you teach. While this is better suited for mini-lessons and short recordings, the Lightboard can also be used with web conferencing tools for live lectures, office hours, and tutoring sessions.

To learn more about the Digital Media Studio, register for CITL’s upcoming live virtual workshop, which will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, November 22 and will cover the operation of the One Button Video Studio and the Lightboard as well as tips and techniques for producing dynamic video content. To register for the Digital Media Studio workshop, visit the CITL Workshops page.
