New library resource on blended learning

The NIU Library has secured the eBook Blended Learning: Research Perspectives. Volume 3, edited by Anthony G. Picciano, Charles D. Dziuban, Charles R. Graham, and Patsy D. Moskal. The book is available through our University Library website. You can read the entire eBook online or download a PDF version to read offline. You can also download individual chapters of interest.
This new text provides insight into the state of blended learning, which is defined as an instructional modality combining face-to-face and digital learning experiences. Some recent advancements in instructional technologies include adaptive courseware, virtual learning, gamification, and analytics. This text examines how evolving instructional technology tools continue to fuel advances in education at all levels.
