Congratulations to our Fix Your Content Day 2025 accessibility champions!

This year’s Fix Your Content Day was a powerful demonstration of what our campus community can accomplish when we come together with a shared purpose. Throughout the 24-hour event, NIU faculty and staff worked steadily to improve the accessibility of digital course materials, an essential step in reducing barriers for students with disabilities and fostering a more inclusive learning environment for all.

The NIU community completed 313 accessibility fixes! This total represents an extraordinary 260% increase over last year’s results. This campus-wide effort shows just how committed our instructors, staff, and academic units are to creating equitable access to learning.

We extend our sincere appreciation to everyone who participated. Every fix—large or small—contributes to a more inclusive experience for our students.
